Euphrasia (Euphrasia L.) is a plant belonging to the Scrophulariaceae family with the appearance of small annual or perennial herbaceous plants and small lip-like flowers with a characteristic yellow mark on the corolla. The Euphrasia genus comprises approximately 400- 500 species spread throughout Europe, Northern Asia and North America. It prefers the cold, temperate climates of the extratropical regions. It is used topically for its astringent, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, supported in particular by the presence of flavonoids and tannins. Euphrasia extract is particularly recommended for sensitive skin, which it calms, tones and regenerates. It is used to relieve congestion to the eyelids and eye area and to treat inflammations of the epidermis.

Ginseng (Panax ginseng of the Araliaceae family) is a perennial plant native to the Far East and grown extensively in China, Korea, Japan, Russia and the Ukraine. A real elixir of youth, an incomparable cureall. For the Chinese, ginseng embodies all the therapeutic, preventative, curative and energetic virtues imaginable; and it would appear that this has been the case for thousands of years, because ginseng is mentioned in the most ancient medicine treaties, since the very early Christian age. It has an extremely high content of toning active ingredients. It also contains group B vitamins, vitamins C, E and K, folic acid, essential oils, polyunsaturated fatty acids, minerals, tannins and phytosterols. In addition to the significant, well-known energising, stimulant and anti-fatigue properties, numerous studies have shown that ginseng can also stimulate the microcirculation, encouraging hair growth. At the skin, it revitalises tissues, giving hair substance and shine. It is also used to increase elasticity and firm dry, wrinkled skin.
